A screenwriter, while maintaining the suspense and flow of the film, must also be knowledgeable of the principles of scene development to do justice to it. They do not necessarily have to be a film director but should at least be able to speak the language of cinema and film techniques. The rest of the work depends on the innate talent and ingenuity of a screenwriter.
